DELPHIA 33 ACCOMMODATION


Delphia 33

Internally the Delphia 33 is very spacious for a boat of this size. The fore cabin features a generously sized double berth with storage lockers. The excellent aft cabin has a large double berth with ample stowage space. An optional 2nd aft double cabin will be available later in 2007.

The saloon area features a large cabin table with room to seat up to six adults in comfort. When not required the cabin table can be neatly folded away and the seating converted into a single berths or optionally a double berth.

There is more stowage space beneath these berths and also in lockers above each berth.

Delphia 33

The galley area on the Delphia 37 is located amidships to starboard. It features a stainless steel sink with integrated worktop cover along with a gimballed two burner cooker with oven.

A cool box with integrated fridge is also standard, an optional foot pump can be added to allow the pumping of melt water out of the cool box. Handy in places like the Mediterranean in summer where ice is used to "help" the fridge between motoring.

All worktops are finished in a light coloured Corian material.

Delphia 33

The spacious, light and well finished interior of the Delphia 33 gives a feeling of homeliness and quality with the large folding table able to accommodate the whole crew. A notable lack of interior mouldings adds to the quality feel with all finishing in light mahogany.

Headroom is a generous 190cm in the saloon area and is 175cm in the forward berth. Timber flooring is used throughout the cabin.

For those who feel the cold or those looking to extend their sailing season Webasto cabin heating is an optional extra that brings real comfort to the boat. Multiple hot air outlets throughout the boat ensure even heat distribution.

The large heads compartment on the Delphia 33 features a sea toilet with 45 litre holding tank as standard, a requirement for using many marinas.

A hand basin in the heads is fitted with H&C fresh water supply and a pull out shower fitting turns the heads into a comfortable shower, ideal for those longer stays aboard.

The heads compartment also doubles as a wet locker.

Delphia 33

The cockpit of the Delphia 33 is spacious and and can accomodate the full crew with ease. A large wheel makes steering precise and light and an instrument pod behind this lets you know all the information you need. A repeater chart plotter may be fitted if required.

Two lockers are located mid cockpit on either side with the starboard one housing the gas locker. The port side locker is vast as there is no cabin beneath. The Delphia 33 does not feature any stern lockers and this is the only noticeable difference between the Delphia 33 & 37 cockpits. Four self tailing Lewmar winches are fitted as standard with 2 x No. 16 winches fitted to the coach roof and 2 x No. 30 winches fitted to the cockpit combings.

Both the cockpit floor and seats are teak laid. A cockpit table is an optional extra along with a custom fitted bimini top and a custom fitted spray hood.

The deck of the Delphia 33 is particularly tidy with all lines lead aft to the cockpit. The deck is enclosed by double guard wires. All lines run via Lewmar clutches and cleats to coach roof mounted Lewmar winches.

A large anchor locker can be found towards the bow.













DELPHIA 33 SAILS AND RIG

The mainsail area of the Delphia 33 is 29.00m2 as standard. Lazy jacks with a stack pack cover are available as an option for this sail. A fully battened mainsail is an option or alternatively owners may select an in mast furling option.

The furling Jib on the Delphia 33 Genoa on the Delphia 33 is 21.3m2 or a furling Genoa of 32.80m2 is available as an option instead.

The mast is supplied by Selden and the furling system is from Furlex, all standing rigging is stainless steel.

An optional Spinnaker kit is available.







DELPHIA 33 ENGINE


Delphia 33

The Delphia 33 is fitted as standard with an S-drive 20hp Volvo Penta D1-20 fresh water cooled engine. This brand new model is a normally aspirated 3-cylinder 760cc diesel engine develops 20hp @ 3,200rpm and has a dry weight of 130kg including gearbox. The alternator provides 115A of 12V power.













DELPHIA 33 INSTRUMENTS & ELECTRICS


Delphia 33

A full suite of instruments and navigation equipment is available on the Delphia 33. For autopilot we offer the Raymarine S1 wheel pilot, this pilot will link with all other instruments & chart plotter via NMEA or the Seatalk interfaces.

The boat is fitted as standard with a Raymarine ST60 depth, log and speed tri-data instrument and ST60 wind instruments may also be added. We can optionally fit Tacktick solar powered wireless instruments in place of the Raymarine units. As well as being excellent instruments in their own right they are also useful for reducing battery consumption when sailing especially at night. They can also be removed from the boat when not in use.

For GPS chart plotters we offer the latest units from Garmin or Raymarine. Our price list has limited space for a few instruments so please feel free to ask us to quote for other instrument you might require
