DELPHIA 29 ACCOMMODATION
Internally the Delphia 29.2 is very spacious for a boat of this size. The fore cabin features a generously sized double berth with storage lockers. The excellent aft cabin has a large double berth with ample stowage space and hanging locker.
DELPHIA 29 SALOON
The saloon area features a large cabin table with room to seat six or more adults in comfort. When required the cabin table can be neatly folded away and the seating converted into two single berths. There is more stowage space beneath these berths and also in lockers above each berth.
DELPHIA 29 GALLEY
The galley area of the Delphia 29.2 features a large locker beneath the sink and an Isotherm refrigerated cool box. A two burner gimballed gas cooker is standard with the vented gas locker located in the cockpit.
Beneath the cooker a number of drawers add to the galley space, one of these would be sacrificed with the fitment of an optional cooker with oven.
The sink features a pressurised fresh water supply and fitted teak cover.
DELPHIA 29 CABIN
The spacious, light and well finished interior of the Delphia 29.2 gives a feeling of homeliness and quality with the large folding table able to accommodate the whole crew. A notable lack of interior mouldings adds to the quality feel with all finishing in light mahogany.
Headroom is a generous 190cm in the saloon area and is 175cm in the forward berth. Timber flooring is used throughout the cabin.
For those who feel the cold or those looking to extend their sailing season Webasto cabin heating is an optional extra that brings real comfort to the boat. Multiple hot air outlets throughout the boat ensure even heat distribution.
DELPHIA 29 HEADS
The large heads compartment on the Delphia 29.2 features a sea toilet with 45 litre holding tank as standard. These are a necessity should you wish to explore our inland waterways.
A hand basin in the heads is fitted with a hot & cold fresh water supply as standard and the pull-out basin faucet turns the heads into a comfortable shower, ideal for those longer stays aboard. The heads compartment also doubles as a wet locker.
DELPHIA 29 COCKPIT
A generous sized cockpit will accommodate the whole crew and in harbour the tiller can be folded away to provide even more seating.
A vast storage locker is located on the starboard side of the cockpit with the vented gas locker situated to port.
A swim platform with retracting ladder are also standard. Teak is used to finish off the cockpit seating, flooring and also the swim platform.
DELPHIA 29 NEW DECK for 2008
The Delphia 29 has has a redesign with an all new deck mould and several interior improvements to bring it into line with the larger models in the range.
As a result, the 'New' Delphia 29 will now be known as the Delphia 29.2 model.
The Delphia 29.2 uses the same well proven, sea kindly hull profile as the original Delphia 29.

DELPHIA 29 DECK
The deck of the Delphia 29.2 is particularly tidy with all lines lead aft to the cockpit. The deck is enclosed by double guard wires at a sensible height. All lines run via Spinlock clutches and cleats to coach roof mounted Self Tailing Lewmar No.16 winches.
On the swing keel version the mast sits on a stainless steel tabernacle and can be easily lowered onto the crutch on the back of the transom whether passing under a bridge or indeed if travelling up a canal. See section below illustrating this
A large anchor locker can be found towards the bow. Wireing is pre-installed for fitting an electric anchor windlass if required

DELPHIA 29 SAILS AND RIG
The mainsail area is 20.80m2 on the fin keel version and and 19.50m2 on the swing keel version. Both versions feature a half-battened mainsail as standard with a fully battened mainsail as an option.
An in-mast mainsail featuring vertical battens is an option on the fin keel models, this is shown on the photo left.
The jib on the fin keel version is 15.00m2 and 13.00m2 on the swing keel version. A 26.00m2 Genoa is optional
The mast is anodized stainless aluminium and all rigging is stainless steel.
A lazy jack system with stack pack cover is available on the Delphia 29.2 as is an optional cruising chute.
DELPHIA 29 ENGINE
The Delphia 29 is fitted with a Volvo D1-20 Fresh water cooled engine. This normally aspirated 3-cylinder diesel engine develops 20hp @ 3,200rpm The alternator provides 115A of 12V power.
Fin Keel boats are fitted as standard with an S-Drive while lifting keel boats have a standard shaft drive.
DELPHIA 29 ELECTRICS
Two batteries are supplied as standard, a 70Ah battery for engine starting and a 105ah for domestic services. Other electrical features include two electric bilge pumps, an anchor light, a deck flood light and full deck level navigation/steaming lights for use while motoring or sailing. Gauges are provided for battery voltage/amps as well as for the diesel, fresh water and holding tanks. A 12V socket is fitted at the navigation station.
A 240v shore power system is standard with battery charger.
There is also a 35ltr hot water calorifier with a 240v immersion and engine circulation to give ample hot water.

DELPHIA 29 MAST LOWERING SYSTEM
The Lifting Keel version can be supplied with a dedicated Mast Lowering System, this useful addition allows the mast to be lowered and raised easily to go under bridges for example for areas such as the Norfolk Broads or french canals.
The last picture shows the mast fully down and resting on the stern mast support - Air draft with the mast like this is about 9 1/2 foot.
