DELPHIA 28 ACCOMMODATION
Internally the Delphia 28s is very spacious for a boat of this size. The fore cabin features a generously sized double berth with storage lockers. The excellent aft cabin has a large double berth with ample stowage space.
When an Inboard Diesel motor is fitted, the aft cabin berth is unavoidably reduced in size due to the space needed for the engine and gearbox.
The saloon area features a large cabin table with room to seat up to six adults in comfort. When required the cabin table can be neatly folded away and the starboard seat may then be used as a single berth.
There is more stowage in lockers beneath the saloon seating and there is also shelving behind each seat.
DELPHIA 28 GALLEY
The galley area of the Delphia 28s features a locker beneath the sink and cool box. A two burner gimballed gas cooker is standard with the vented gas locker stored aft of the cabin.
Beneath the cooker a number of drawers add to the galley space, these may be sacrificed in favour of a cooker with grill or oven..
The sink features a pressurised fresh water supply with hot water as an option. A seacock is fitted to the sink waste pipe as standard.
The aforementioned cool box may also be converted into a electric fridge if required.
DELPHIA 28 HEADS
The large heads compartment on the Delphia 28s features a sea toilet with 45 litre holding tank as standard. These are a necessity should you wish to explore our inland waterways.
A hand basin in the heads is fitted with a fresh water supply as standard but the optional hot water upgrade also turns the heads into a comfortable shower, ideal for those longer stays aboard.
The heads compartment also doubles as a wet locker.
DELPHIA 28 COCKPIT
A generous sized cockpit of the Delphia 28s will accomodate the whole crew in comfort.
Optional cockpit winches are available to compliment the coach roof set.
The mainsheet attachment point is to the cockpit sole.

DELPHIA 28 DECK
The deck of the Delphia 28s is particularly tidy with all lines lead aft to the cockpit. The deck is enclosed by double guard wires. All lines run via Lewmar clutches and cleats to coach roof mounted Lewmar winches.
An optional single handed mast lowering kit is available that allows the mast to be easily lowered onto a crutch on the back of the transom whether passing under a bridge or indeed if travelling up a canal.
A large anchor locker can be found towards the bow.
DELPHIA 28 SAILS AND RIG
The mainsail area is 22.00m2 on the Delphia 28s is is 22.00m2 while the roller furling jib is 17.00m2 with anti-UV protection as standard.
The mast is anodized stainless aluminium and all rigging is stainless steel. A lazy jack system with stack pack is also available for the Delphia 28s.
An optional cruising chute and spinnaker kits are available as optional extras.
Mylar racing sails are an optional extra.
DELPHIA 28 VERSIONS
The Delphia 28s is available in both fixed and lifting keel versions.
Those who sail in shallower waters will be impressed by the draft of only 30cm on the swing keel version, this increases to 1.3m with the keel fully extended. The rudder also retracts to allow the boat to take the ground on a drying mooring.
On the engine front the Delphia 28s will also be available in both outboard petrol and inboard diesel powerplants. The outboard version will be ideal for those on a budget especially if their sailing is restricted to inland waters.
